Hi Petr,
The editor button of Showtime Image Gallery relies on JavaScript, so it’s possible that a JavaScript error on your site is preventing it from working correctly on the frontend.
Please check your browser console for any JavaScript errors.
If you’d like, you can also create a private support ticket and provide credentials along with a link to the page — I’ll be happy to check it for you.
Best regards,
Lefteris
Hi Petr,
I’ve checked your site using the credentials you provided. When I switched to Joomla’s default Cassiopeia template (by appending &template=cassiopeia to the URL), everything worked correctly. This indicates that the issue is caused by a conflict with your site’s current template.
I’m not entirely sure which part of the template is responsible, but I noticed that it loads both modal.min.js (/media/vendor/bootstrap/js/modal.min.js) and admin-history-modal.min.js (/media/com_contenthistory/js/admin-history-modal.min.js) before they are actually needed. This could be related to the problem.
As a temporary workaround, I recommend disabling the Versions feature in Joomla and testing again to see if that resolves the issue.
Please note that this is only a workaround — the underlying cause is a JavaScript conflict between Showtime Image Gallery and your site’s template.
Best regards,
Lefteris
