Hi,On further testing it seems that the individual seo page scores are not reflected in the Route 66 admin menu item data correctly.
Example: on the page I have:
 Keyphrase in introduction: Well done!
 Keyphrase length: Good job!
Keyphrase density: The keyphrase was found 31 times. This is great!
Keyphrase in meta description: Keyphrase or synonym appear in the meta description. Well done!
 Meta description length: Well done!
Keyphrase in subheading: 12 of your H2 and H3 subheadings reflect the topic of your copy. Good job!
 Image Keyphrase: good job!
 Images: good job!
Text length: the text contains 1830 words. Good job!
 Outbound links: Good job!
Keyphrase in SEO title: The exact match of the focus keyphrase appears at the beginning of the SEO title. Good job!
Internal links: You have enough internal links. Good job!
 SEO title width: Good job!
Keyphrase in slug: More than half of your keyphrase appears in the slug. That's great! But in the admin menu item page I have:
Keyphrase in introduction: Your keyphrase or its synonyms do not appear in the first paragraph. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.
Keyphrase in subheading: use more keyphrases or synonyms in your H2 and H3 subheadings!
Keyphrase in slug: Please add both a keyphrase and a slug containing the keyphrase.
Image Keyphrase: out of 24 images on this page, only 7 have alt attributes that reflect the topic of your text. Add your keyphrase or synonyms to the alt tags of more relevant images!
 Keyphrase length: Good job!
Keyphrase density: The keyphrase was found 33 times. This is great!
Keyphrase in meta description: Keyphrase or synonym appear in the meta description. Well done!
 Meta description length: Well done!
 Images: good job!
Text length: the text contains 2174 words. Good job!
 Outbound links: Good job!
Keyphrase in SEO title: The exact match of the focus keyphrase appears at the beginning of the SEO title. Good job!
Internal links: You have enough internal links. Good job!
 SEO title width: Good job!
Surely the Admin menu item data should match the on page scores?Regards, Brendan

Hi Brendan,

thanks for the detailed report. I just want to clarify something first — Route 66 doesn’t include a separate “menu item” view. Could you let me know exactly which screen you’re referring to?

If you mean the crawled pages view, then some minor discrepancies are expected. The SEO tab in the edit view runs the analysis based only on the form data you enter (title, description, text field, etc.), while the crawler runs the analysis on the full rendered page. That can lead to slightly different results, especially for things like keyphrase in introduction, slug, or images with alt text.

Once I know which screen you’re looking at, I can confirm if that explains the difference you’re seeing.

Best regards,
Lefteris

Hi,I'm looking at the difference between the article results and those results as shown in the admin menu view for Route 66 > pages > clicked item.
The results are inconsistent. But now you have mentioned that the pages menu item results are whole page (as in the old Pro version options) it makes sense. This might be a good place to add some help text to explain the differences.

Yet, there are still some discrepancies that don't appear to be true. For example the admin menu item SEO from a clicked item says (in red):
Link keyphrase: You're linking to another page with the words you want this page to rank for. Don't do that!    Yet, I'm not in the article text, so maybe it is looking at menu items? This behaviour, if so, it not sensible to me. It seems this is for most of the items/articles.
Keyphrase in introduction: Your keyphrase or its synonyms do not appear in the first paragraph. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.  Yes, the keyphrase is in the first

tag above the first

. This turns off the same warning in the article view.
Keyphrase in slug: Please add both a keyphrase and a slug containing the keyphrase. The slug contains both: example.c o m/services/towbar-fitting where "towbar fitting" is set in the article and replicated in the admin menu item. For me this behaviour is not correct.Regards, Brendan

Hi Brendan,

thanks for the clarification and examples. In the next update, the analyzer in the crawled pages view will be adjusted to read only the component output, ignoring modules. This should make the results almost identical to what you see in the article edit view.

Regarding the remaining discrepancies you highlighted (link keyphrase, keyphrase in introduction, and keyphrase in slug), these should also improve with this change, as the analysis will focus solely on the main article content rather than additional page elements.

Best regards,
Lefteris
