Hi,I'm adding to my previous issues.This time issues in categories.The SEO tab is accessible in the category editing/settings. But is seems to have little comprehension of what is set in the category menu item.Yoast complains:1. Meta description length: No meta description has been specified. Search engines will display copy from the page instead. Make sure to write one!Yet is is set in the menu item correctly.In the search tab the google rendering shows the category title and the first part of the category description text.2. Keyphrase in SEO title: Not all the words from your keyphrase "headstone cartech blog" appear in the SEO title. For the best SEO results, write the exact match of your keyphrase in the SEO title, and put the keyphrase at the beginning of the title. The page title is set in the menu item settings as would be expected for a blog type menu item.There are similar issues like this all related to the way Route 66 does not drag in the correct data for the category based on expected "norms". But, it is rather treating the category as an article, which is not the correct behaviour.Regards, Brendan

Hi Brendan,
Thanks for the follow-up. What you’re seeing with categories is the same underlying issue as with articles — the SEO tab is currently ignoring menu item metadata. That’s why Yoast flags missing meta descriptions and mismatched titles even though they’re set correctly in the menu.
We already have this logged and will be working on a fix so that menu item data is properly reflected in the SEO tab for both articles and categories.
Appreciate you pointing this out — it helps us improve Route 66 further.
