hello
How can I change the css code? Adding styles to the website's css file does not make any difference. Apparently this is locked.Changing the codes is necessary for rtl websites.Thank you

Hello,

Thanks for your message.

CommentBox uses Shadow DOM, so adding CSS rules to your site’s stylesheet won’t affect the component. Instead, you can customize the appearance through the Style settings available under Components → CommentBox → Options → Style. There you can control most aspects of the layout — such as colors, spacing and fonts.

Also, RTL layouts are detected automatically based on your site’s language, so you shouldn’t need to apply any manual direction settings. Please make sure your Joomla site language is configured correctly in the Language Manager and then clear the site and browser cache.

If you still want to apply your own custom styles, you can create a layout override of the file:

components/com_commentbox/layouts/commentbox/application.php

However, this approach is not recommended, since nearly all visual aspects can be controlled through the built-in style options.

Best regards,
Lefteris
