Hello,
Here I am again with a little question.
Commentbox is working perfectly... well, almost!
The point is that it doesn't appear in all articles displayed on the web site of "carmenduranbooks.com".
Two pages are intentionally disabled, but there are some pages on which it doesn't appear at all, and I don't know why.
And when I have two (or more) articles in the same Menue title (Letras & Sabores / Letras) it appears only in the last one.
Would you have a suggestion for the issue?
I'd like to thank you so in advance.
Kind regards,
J. R. Bustam

Hi,

Can you please provide the URLs that are not working?

Hi,
You can go to https://carmenduranbooks.com/news submenu "Novedades"
and https://carmenduranbooks.com/mis-libros submenus "Poemario" & "Novela"
All the others are working quite well, as you can see in the shown web site.
I don't know why these articles don't show the "Comments" form.
Thanks for helping.
Regards,
J. R. Bustam

Hi,
Here I am again for another question concerning the use of your "commentbox".
The web site of "carmenduranbooks.com" is build in Spanish, because the author Carmen Durán is a Spanish writer of Contemporary Romantic Novel, and my question is how or where I can translate the words of the contact form from English to Spanish.
Is there that possibility... or not?
So I'll keep waiting for your friendly assistance to this couple of problems I have with your Extension.

Hi,

Thanks for your message.

The pages where comments are not appearing are category pages, not individual article pages. CommentBox is designed to work only on article pages, so comments won’t be shown on category pages. However, on category pages, CommentBox can display the comment counter for each article. It seems this option might be disabled in your settings—feel free to check the plugin options to enable it if you’d like.

Regarding translations: the contact form you’re referring to is not part of the CommentBox extension. You can translate any part of CommentBox using Joomla’s built-in language override system. This can be done directly from the Joomla admin panel, as explained in the official documentation:

https://manual.joomla.org/docs/next/general-concepts/multilingual/#language-overrides

Let me know if you need help enabling the comment counters or setting up the language overrides.

Best regards

Hi Lefteris,
Thank you for trying to help, but...
There's no way to resolve the issues of the first post of this topic.
I've made some changes in the menu structure of the web site (carmenduranbooks.com), but the issue is still there, I mean, the 'commentbox' doesn't affect the articles put in the menu "blog/news" and in "libros/mis libros", all others articles are okay.
And have the same structure, as you may see on that web site.
With one new problem:
the 'comments' were working quite well, but after the changes I've made in the structure of the web site, it only appears the following:

and even if do it, Login as a user, the "form" doesn't appear.
Can you please identify the problem or did I miss something?
Thank you very much in advance for any kind of assistance.
Best regards,
J. R. Bustam

Hi,
the "following" mentioned in the message before has disappeared, here it is:
"Comments - 'Login' to join the conversation and leave a comment".

Hi,

Since you’ve recently modified the menu structure, I recommend reviewing the CommentBox settings again. In particular, check the “Exclude Menu Items” option and ensure that no menu items are excluded where you want comments to be enabled.

Next, please verify that no pages have been manually disabled in the backend. To do this, go to CommentBox → Pages and confirm that the relevant pages are enabled.

Also, make sure the pages where you want comments to appear are article pages. CommentBox does not display comments on category pages—only comment counters are shown there.

If none of the above resolves the issue, feel free to open a private support ticket and include administrator credentials so I can take a closer look. Be sure to include the exact URLs where you’re expecting comments to appear.

Best regards,
Lefteris
