#989 – Watermark

 Hello Lefteris,

I try to add a watermark on the thumbs but nothing shows when I even enable everything.
Wat an I missing?

Hi Ton,

Have you added your watermark file in the component options? Note that watermark applies to images you upload after enabling this feature.

Hello Lefteris,

Yes, because I'm testing this I use a Joomla logo which is already in the images.
What I actually try to achieve is to put a small image of a magnifying glass, in the right-bottom corner of the thumbnail images.

Hi Ton,

Just uploaded an image in your site and the watermark was applied as expected.
You can see the new image in the gallery named "Test galerie".

Please let me know if you need help.

thanks, I can see it.
But I tested myself just right now and it only gives a watermark when I upload through the component.
I've made a custom field for my client to upload images and there it doesn't give a watermark.
Hi Ton,

Just created a new test article in your site. I added a gallery using the custom field and the watermark was added with no issues.
Am I missing something?

Sorry, it was a portrait image that I uploaded and therefore the watermark was not on screen but way below.
