#807 – Use existing folders for images galleries

Dear Support team,

I already have inside a folder called images my "Gallery1", "Gallery2", "Gallery3", etc folders full of pics that I've like to import into your Showtime Image Gallery, but you add-on only gives me the option to add New

Is there a way for me to use these existing galleries that I have? Or shall I move the folder to a predefined folder for your add-on to see it?

On a different note... may I please know an SLA for your time response to tickets? I created ticket 806 a few hours ago and still no reply from you

Hi Manny,

You should get a response within 24 hours, unless it's a holiday or weekend.
Regarding your issue, Showtime Image Gallery does not work with folders. Each image has to be uploaded through the backend because it needs to process those images.
How many galleries do you have?
You can simply create a new gallery and drag and drop the images to upload them.

The creation of new galleries worked perfectly well. Once I uploaded the pics, I deleted the corresponding old folders and all is working fine now
