#435 – gallery for copied posts

Hello

I use the Showtime Image Gallery as a field in my posts.

When I copy a post, it also copies the gallery. This is tedious: First I have to delete both galleries and then re-create them. Without deleting, it changes the gallery for both posts (the original post and the copied post).

Is there a solution that the gallery is not copied?

Unfortunately, we have no control over the copy functionality. Joomla copies the values from the custom fields table. You will run into the same issue with Joomla intro and full images. The copied article is using the same image files as the original.
I will look into it again just in case I find a way.
