Showtime Image Gallery is compatible with Joomla 5 (using the compatibility plugin which is part of Joomla 5 and is enabled by default).
A Joomla 5 native version is on the way but that will have no effect on extension functionality. So if you want, you can start using Showtime Image Gallery with Joomla 5 right now.
