#1082 – endless subfolders in media

Hi,
I am running into a problem with the media folder in showcase. There is an endless loop with the folders.
Any ideas why this is happening?

It is only in the subfolders with /14/
/11/ and /13/ are ok

This is very weird. Do you have this in other galleries too or just in that with ID 14?

Did you see my screenshots? Here they only look like broken links.
It is also in other subfolders, not only for 14
I did see the screenshots. I see two broken galleries, one with ID 14 and the second with ID 16. Both created on 6th of August.
I am just asking if this is happening in all galleries or those two. The number after the date in the path is the gallery ID.

If it is possible, please create a new private ticket and provide administration credentials and FTP access so I can troubleshoot this.

I could not give you access to that website.

However, I now have another website with the same problem.


Am I the only person with that problem?
I have it on two different J3 websites.
It always comes up, when we prepare the update.

And I found out something else.
The gallery with the ID 176 seems a deactivated gallery


We create galleries only through article fields.
Maybe something goes wrong with saving there.

We are struggling to reproduce this issue with no success until now.
Have this happened to any new galleries? Are you using the latest version of Showtime Image Gallery?

As I only see the error when testing and restoring a (akeeba) backup, I don't know when it happens.
I had another project there it was with the deactivated or "broken" galleries when they did not have an image.

Hm, I will come up with details if I have the problem again.
