#1077 – Thumbnails images are very blur

Hope all is okay

I'm running Showtime Gallery 1.5.7 on a Joomla 4 website, and have set the " Thumbnail Image Width" and "Height" in the Images option to 100 x 100, with the option to fit, and in spite of having the setting in the general options of 100 for " Main Image Resize Quality", the thumbnails are presented pixelated and blur, as you can see on this link: https://www.nazaudy.com/list-of-extinction-events#Z_Extinction21 causing eye aches and not very inviting to continue reading the webpage

Any change to improve the quality of the thumbnails? maybe manually?

Hi Manny,

The images are blurry because you are using the Justified layout. This layout will place the images taking advantage of the free space on the screen. This means that some images will be displayed in a larger scale than others.

There are two things you can do:
1. Increase the thumnail image width. I checked your site and setting the width to 400 should make the images look clear.
2. Use a different gallery layout.
