#941 – Problems with Canonicals

Status: Pending - Category: Route 66
I have a question about the canonical links settings. We installed Route66 Pro. The canonicals are activated:
Options / canonical links: on

When I open post 123.html from a blog, it looks like this:

www.website.com/news/category/article123.html

canonical =
https://www.website.com/news/category.html

Why is this wrong?

Can you please provide the actual URL? If you could create a private ticket and provide administrator credentials that would be even better.
