#1185 – compatibily with old article url

hi sorry to disturb you, i use route 66 and some other old url article is no more working did you know if there is way (a plugin or something to try to fix this ?)

example :

original url (no more working):

https://www.crashdebug.fr/international/3619-libye-le-principal-motif-de-lagression-le-dinar-or-vostf

working url :

https://www.crashdebug.fr/international/libye-le-principal-motif-de-lagression-le-dinar-or-vostf

we have tons of article who are now in 404

Hi,

I am glad that you resolved this issue. Route 66 has also an option for redirecting to old URLs. You can give it a try.

You can enable Route 66 redirects at "Components" -> "Route 66" -> "Options". When you enable this Route 66 will redirect all your old URLs to your new URLs.
If i got it right, this is what you are looking for.
If you only have a few URLs then you can use the Joomla Redirects component as you wrote. It's up to you.
