#1138 – Trailing Slashes

 Hi,
I've selected no trailing slashes to menu items, but when you type in a URL with a trailing slash it doesn't redirect to the non-trailing slash URL.

Redirects don't seem to work

Regarding your questions:

1. Route 66 trailing slashes functionality adds a trailing slash to your existing menu items it does not perform any redirects. This is also a feature that we consider to remove since it has no actual SEO benefit .
2. Route 66 has some options for URLs. Please make sure that both "Canonical links" and "Redirects" are enabled under Route 66 options. When both options are enabled Route 66 will redirect pages to their canonical links. The canonical link of each page depends on your setup. Specific component options, menu items, and URL extensions like Route 66 can affect the URL of each page.

If you enable those options and redirects still do not work please create a new private ticket and provide administrator access so I can troubleshoot this.
