#1036 – article and tag with the same alias leads to the fact that only the article is callable

Status: Closed - Category: Route 66
Hello,
I have the following settings:
Article URL pattern: {categoryAlias}/{articleAlias}
Tag URL pattern: tag/{tagAlias}

Now when I have an article and a tag named "test" and go to the URL domain.com/tag/test, I get to the article page and not the tag page. This should not happen. Can you help me?

Regards
Hi Jules,

Just sent you an email with a link to download the development version of Route 66.
This version should fix the issue you are facing. Please let me know if you face any issues with the development version.

Thank you very much for the quick help! I can now call up the tag page, even though it has the same name as an article. But now all wrong URLs are redirected to index.php instead of coming to an error page.

Regards Jules
Hi Jules,

Can you provide more information? I am not getting this behavior in my tests.
Do you have any example URLs to share?

Regards

I have a test installation where I have installed the new version. I can give you access data to the website. What is the best way to send you the access data?

(Your Privacy Settings link in the footer doesn't seem to work)
Hi Jules,

You can create a new private ticket in order to provide the credentials of your test installation.
The footer privacy settings link works only in the pages with ads. I need to hide it in the rest pages, you are right.

Regards

Sorry for the trouble. It was because the page was taken offline in the configurations. And then, with a wrong URL, I get to the start page instead of an error page.

So that has nothing to do with you guys.

Thanks for the great support.
