When using the Gallery as a custom field, it seems that it is not possible to select a gallery that was allready createrd in the gallery component ? That would be really nice to have - maybe a button called Select gallery.

It would also be nice to be able to attach a gallery that is created through a Custom Field to a Category in the gallery.

Thank you for your feedback. We will consider this feature. In any case, you can reuse galleries by inserting them in the editor text.

I know I can reuse them in the article text, but this feature would be to get consistancy in the design, by using the default layout in the given template, so that an editor does not screw up the design :-)
Also the creation of articles is more streamlined when using the custom field to create the gallery - but then you can not add it to a cetagory, whcih creates a better overview in the admin of the gallery.
I hope you will consider both functionalities - a small donation could eventually come your way.
