#143 – JS conflict in article edit view

Status: Closed - Category: Showtime Image Gallery
An error occurs in article edit view said "Uncaught TypeError: i.fire is not a function", only showed after add a showtime image gallery field, seems like a js conflict with tinymce.
Hi,

Just tested and I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you please provide more details? What's your Joomla version? Are you using any other third-party extensions that might affect the article form?

Regards

Thanks for your reply. I have rechecked this issue on a new v3.8.7 joomla site, found the error would occur after JCE editor installed. It seems a conflict with the latest JCE editor.
I can confirm this. It's a conflict with the JCE. Does this break the backend? Because despite the error, it seems to work fine for me.

Yes indeed, it works without interruption. Hope it could be fixed someday. Thanks!
We will try to fix this!

Thank you for the feedback.
