#387 – Optimizing and Minification cause special characters to display improperly

The text reverts to normal with I turn off Route 66' Optimize Javascript, CSS and Minify CSS options.

Have you resolved the issue? I see that it's working fine now.
Just make sure that your template has the correct charset meta:
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />


This should make PHP handle correctly the special characters. What's the PHP version you are using?

No, the special characters are still showing incorrectly.
Here's the site.

This is my charset tag: <meta charset="utf-8">
PHP version: 7.2.16
