#988 – Add translation to installation / update package?

Hi! We have created a translation file for Econa and add this every time we add Econa. But when there are changes / additions to the file we need to upload it again to all sites we have installed Econa on before the changes were made.

If we provide you with a dutch translation would you consider adding it to the installer / update files? When there are new language strings available I will update our translation and send them to you again. Or we could setup an online file to add the translation strings to it?

I will be more than happy to include any translation files in the package. You can share the file as you wish. Even a simple GitHub repository will be fine but it's up to you.

I created a Github rep to share the Dutch (nl-NL)translations for Econa with you. We primary use the custom fields plugin. SO we only had that translation, but now we also translated the other plugins.

Can you let me know if we have all translation files added? Are the organized OK in the repository?

Can you let me know when the language files are added to a new version?

When you add new languages strings in the future you will let us know? We will then translate them.

I have no words to thank you. Everything is fine, it's not hard for me to copy the files. I will add those files now in the repository of the extension so they get shipped with the next update.

Maybe we could also do this for Showtime Image Gallery? I thin we have a translation for the extension (backend). I will see if we can find all language files and also translate those. OK?

If we do that, I will change the name of the GitHub rep from to 'firecoders_econa_nl_languagefiles' to 'firecoders_nl_languagefiles' and the have two folders for Econa and SIG.

Every contribution is welcome! You are free to do what you wish. I will add any translations you create for sure and I am really thankful for that.

Hi Lefteris, we added the dutch translation (nl_NL) for SIG to the GitHub repository.

I notice the use of "_QQ_" in some of the language files. In our translation we have changed this to \" to escape quotes.
