#939 – Econa field plugin -> Image cropper suggestions

Status: Closed - Category: Econa
1) Would it be possible to set the econa crop tool to always start of with a max selected area of an uploaden image in stead of a smaller size? Of course it would need to consider the selected (or forced) aspect ratio. But when the uploaded image has a different aspect ratio the cropper could maybe expand to the best fitting size?

2) A somewhat related question: Is it possible to force users to use the cropping tool so they can not skip it, especially when the aspect ratio is different than one of the set aspect ratios (in our cased mosly just one aspect ration). So when an image is uploaded that doesn not use the set aspect ratio (or one of them) the cropper must be used to save the image. I think this might be a bit tricky... But I just wanted to put it out there ;-)

Kind regards,
Jip
Hi Jip,

Both of those suggestions make sense. The first one is easy to implement. Actually I am thinking to set this to the maximum possible area by default.
Unfortunately the second one is a bit tricky since the modal window has a close button. But I will give it a try.

Great!
Hi! I think both suggestions have been added to Econa now. Correct? Excellent! Thanks for that.
Hi Jip,

Yes, both features are now included in Econa. Thank you for the feedback you have provided.
