#937 – Two econa custom fields in one articles -> issue

Status: Closed - Category: Econa
Hi! When we use two econa custom fields in our articles something goes wrong with the second image when the first one is changed. It looks like the second image is gone but I ssems like econa uses the extension from the first image also on the second image on save. In our case we have a jpg and a png image. When the jpg is changed econa also saves the second image (in the database) as jpg. After that the image is not shown anymore because the wrogn file extension is used.

I am not sure if only the file-extension is overwritten or also the file name.

To reproduces:

- Add two econa custom field fields to com_content. Set one to save as jpg and the other not.
- Create a new article and upload a jpg image in the first field (convert to jpg on) and a png in the second field (convert to png off)
- Save the article. Both images and image data are saved OK.
- Reopen the artcle and replace the first image (jpg) and save. At this point the second image (png) will not show anymore because the png extension has been changed to jpg.

Kind rergards,
Jip
