#342 – Image not showing in backend?

Status: Closed - Category: Econa
Hi!
I just installed Econa. I set up a article custom field. When I go to the article I see the upload button. Also after selecting an image I see the image and I can scale it. But when I save the article the image is not visible on the tab we created. (In the backend)

Im the source code I see:

<div class="econaImageContainer">
<img src="/images/econa/fields/7/com_content_article/43/foto_01_L." class="econaImage">
</div>

I do not see this image (with missing jpg extension?) in the images folder. It looks like it is not there.

I use Admin Tools to protect the website. We did have to allow access to the tmp folder in the htaccess configuration to get it working this far. But maybe we need some more changes to the htacces to get this going?

Hope you can help me out.

Kind regards,
Jip
I disable htaccess and AdminTools but that did not solve my issue. So I guess it must be something else.
I figured it out! I noticed a ticket that someone had the same issue. We have Regular Labs Cache Cleaner installed and set an option to clean the tmp folder on saving an article. This probably interfered with the Econa plugin.

I would suggest you do not use the tmp filder for the Econa extensions. Maybe you could use the Joomla media folder? Users that have AdminTools installed might have to grant acces to that folder in the htaccess folder.

Kind regards,
Jip
Hi,

I am glad that you resolved this. Actually the /tmp folder is designed for holding temporary files. But since this plugin is popular we will probably use a different folder.
Please let me know if you need anything else.

Regards

Thanks. I really like Econa!
